Alfa de Oro 2026 Awards were delivered in september the 10th

On September 10, the Spanish Society of Ceramics and Glass (SECV) held the 50th edition of the Alfa de Oro Awards at the Castellón Chamber of Commerce. These awards are among the most prestigious distinctions in the Spanish ceramic industry.

The jury evaluated the innovations presented, taking into account technological and process improvements, as well as the properties and performance of the products developed.

The three awards in this edition went to:

  • ATC Colores, for the development of ROOTS, new eco-sustainable compositions for producing ceramic tiles with special aesthetic effects based on two-component systems.
  • Equipe, for the development and implementation of a 100% electric kiln, aimed at decarbonising the manufacturing process of ceramic floor and wall tiles.
  • Vernís, for UPCYCLING, second-life floor tiles, a ceramic application that uses a second firing at temperatures below 750°C to achieve a controlled improvement in the slip resistance of floor tiles without altering their aesthetic appearance.

Our congratulations to the award-winning companies and our encouragement to all participants.
